Gordon Micunis graduated from Tufts College and Yale University, earning a Degree in Art and English: Scenic, Costume, Lighting, and Theater Design. He attended Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts School, and NYU’s Television Workshop. He taught at Barnard College, and C.W. Post College. He is a Lifetime Member of prestigious United Scenic Artists Guild of Designers for Television, Theater and Cinema. He designed for Theater and Opera. Micunis is also a Korean Veteran, world traveler and travel author, Interior Designer, Party Designer and Space Planner, Store and Restaurant Designer. He was been honored in Who’s Who for his Opera Designs, Published in Theater World, Restaurant News, Interior Design, and numerous Theater Design Publications, represented in Theater collections. Also an artist, sculptor, painter, graphic designer, and exhibiting member of Silvermine Guild of Artists, participating in numerous group and Solo art shows.
